How we helped you in June:
TELEPHONE CALLS:
- In June we received 5757 incoming calls to the surgery.
- 3184 of these calls were answered by the reception team within 2 minutes.
- 945 patients hung up the phone before their call could be answered.
ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS:
- 19,125 prescription items were issued by our prescription clerks.
- Our secretaries typed 221 referrals to secondary care services.
- 131 patients were unable to work and were issued with a FIT note by one of the GP’s.
- We sent 421 letters or emails to patients and 617 SMS text messages to patients.
- We received 1946 emails or requests via My Health Online in June.
APPOINTMENTS:
- 4111 patients had a booked appointment with a clinician in June 2023.
- 3891 of these appointments were attended, or the telephone was answered, by the patient.
- 220 appointments were not attended resulting in wasted clinical time of 55 hours!
If you are unable to attend a booked appointment, please ensure that this is cancelled so that the appointment can be offered to another patient who may need it.
