Covid-19 Update August 2020

NORTH ROAD UPDATE:

North Road Surgery has now re-opened for limited, pre-booked nursing appointments.

Please DO NOT attend the surgery if you do not have an appointment. Please contact us via telephone to arrange a nursing appointment.

No prescriptions are being processed from North Road Surgery, please continue to order your medication via Trosnant Lodge in the same way you have been while North Road has been closed.

We are keeping staff at North Road to a minimum due to lack of space.

GENERAL UPDATE:

Appointments with the GP or Advanced Nurse Practitioner will be via the telephone. If they wish to see you, a time will be given for you to attend surgery. Please do not attend surgery unless you are asked to do so.

Appointments for essential nursing services are available, please ask at reception for more information.

If you are attending Trosnant Lodge or North Road Surgery for an appointment please ensure that you come ALONE and that you wear a mask to your appointment.

In the case of children, one parent will allowed into surgery to accompany the child to their appointment.

PRESCRIPTIONS:

Please allow 48 hours (Monday – Friday) for the processing of your prescriptions.

After 48 hours, if you have any queries please contact your nominated pharmacy. Please only the contact surgery if it has been 48 hours since you have ordered and if you have already spoken to your nominated pharmacy. If you have not spoken to the pharmacy, you will asked to try them first. The pharmacy will then be able to contact us on your behalf if there are any issues.

SELF ISOLATING:

Please be aware that the isolation period for those with symptoms of Covid-19 has been increased to 10 days, with 14 days isolation required for those in your household.
