Due to unprecedented demand at present, all requests for routine appointments are being reviewed and are no longer being directly booked by the reception team when you call.
This may mean that you are signposted to a service that is more appropriate for your concerns, rather than being directly booked a GP appointment.
To request a routine appointment please complete the form via this link: Trosnant Lodge Surgery Routine Appointment Request – Fill in form
Please bear the following in mind when requesting a routine appointment:
- Please provide as much information as possible for the reason for the appointment, as this helps the people reviewing this requests to allocate appropriately.
- If you prefer a particular GP, whether or not you are happy to see someone else. If you would like to see someone in particular, we will do everything we can to book you with that clinician, but by letting the reception team know that you are happy to see someone else if they do not have availability will help us deal with your query sooner.
- If you will only see one clinician, your wait for an appointment may significantly longer than expected.
- If you have been offered an appointment, this will be the soonest available appointment. We are receiving a lot of requests for “sooner” or “earlier” appointments after the appointment has been booked. The appointment you have been given will be the next available, please be aware that you may be contacted to say that there isn’t anything sooner.
- If there are days or times that work best for you, please provide this information when you request your appointment.
Please be kind to the staff.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
