Please allow 48 hours notice for the surgery to produce repeat prescriptions.
Please be aware that the pharmacy require a 7 day processing time for all repeat prescriptions, so please factor this in when you are placing your order.
Requests for repeat prescriptions should not be placed earlier than 10 calendar days before your medication is due to run out. If you are placing an early order, please do so via email to prescriptions.w93055@wales.nhs.uk or via the prescription order form and provide an explanation for your early order. PLEASE NOTE that early orders may be rejected and not all of these will be processed.
IMPORTANT – prescriptions will not be processed sooner than 48 hours and you should always ensure that you are ordering medication in plenty of time. If you run out of regular medication and you have not ordered, you should discuss an emergency supply with your regular pharmacy.
Repeat prescriptions can be ordered via the NHS Wales app, by email to prescriptions.w93055@wales.nhs.uk or via the prescription order form to the right, or by returning the right hand side of your prescription with the items required clearly indicated.
We are keen to ensure that patients with ongoing medical problems are monitored regularly. If the date for your next review with a doctor or nurse has passed you will be asked to make an appointment.
Please note we cannot accept repeat prescription requests over the telephone ! If you contact the surgery with regards to a prescription, you will be asked to put your request or query in writing to us.
