Most of our surgeries are by an appointment only system. Appointments can be booked by telephoning the surgery or contacting us via the communication form on this website.
You are also able to book some face to face appointments via The NHS Wales App. You do not need to contact us to register to use this service, you only need valid photographic I.D. and to be over the age of 16. Please visit https://app.nhs.wales/login to register and for more information.
Please ensure that only routine queries are sent to us via email. Please ensure that all URGENT enquiries are telephoned through to the surgery. We aim to respond to all emails to the Practice within 48 hours, or two working days, but this is not always possible.
For routine appointments, we will always try to book you with the clinician of your choice, however if they are not available we may ask you if you are happy to see another doctor. Please be aware that a wait for some clinicians can be longer than others, and to book the soonest routine appointment may mean that you see a doctor that was not your first choice.
In the case of an emergency appointment, you will be asked for the details of your medical problem and our receptionists will either book you the most appropriate appointment for your problem, or you may be signposted to a more appropriate service outside of the Practice (such as the pharmacy, optician etc.). If you are booked an emergency appointment, this will be with either our Nurse Practitioner or the on call doctor. It is not possible for you to specify which clinician you would prefer when booking an emergency appointment.
If you are too ill to come to the surgery and you require a visit at home, please call the surgery before 10am where possible. Home visits take up much more of a doctor’s time than a consultation in the surgery, so if you are mobile please come into the surgery to be seen.
