This shows all of the patient activity in practice and what our staff have been doing to assist and help our patients.
Activity Data Explained:
Total Calls To Practice – this is the total number of incoming calls to the practice across all areas.
Number of calls answered within 2 minutes – this is the number of calls into practice that were answered within 2 minutes by the team.
Number of calls abandoned – this is the number of calls that were cancelled or hung up by the caller before being answered.
Items issues via prescription – this is the number of individual medications issues by the surgery in a month. This a count of each item and not each patient.
Referrals Made – this is the total number of referral letters typed to secondary care each month by our secretaries.
Fit Notes Issued – this is the number of Fit Notes (more commonly referred to as “Sick Notes”) issued to patients who were too unwell to work.
Administrative Communication Issued – this is the number of letters and emails sent to patients. Examples of these could be a reply to a patient’s email or a letter inviting them to book an appointment.
Text Messages Sent and Received – this is the number of SMS text messages sent to patients by the Practice. If you would like to receive text messages from the practice, please provide us with an up to date mobile number.
Digital Requests Sent to Practice – this is the number of electronic requests received by the practice from patients. This includes emails, prescription requests via My Health Online and in the future we may offer other digital ways to contact us. We currently offer an email service for routine queries and prescription requests.
Appointments Total – this is the number of booked appointments for the month.
Appointments Seen – this is the number of patients who have either attended surgery for their appointment, or answered the telephone for their booked telephone consultation our of the number of total booked appointments.
Appointments DNA – this is the number of patients who did not attend their booked appointment, or who did not answer the telephone for their booked telephone consultation.
