Did you know…
Since 2012, 100 GP surgeries in Wales have closed. This number represents a crisis affecting GPs and their patients every day.
If means patients have less doctors to turn to and GPs are faced with an unsustainable workload.
Funding for general practice has plummeted but the demand for our services have grown.
Welsh government gives this practice £117.48 a year for each patient, whatever their health needs. That’s less than the cost of a TV license.
That is 32p a day for every patient registered with us – less than the cost of an apple.
This is why you struggle to see a GP.
The British Medical Association are fighting for the funding we need from Welsh Government to deliver the services you require and to make it easier to get appointments to see your GP and the practice team.
